The newest ballad leaves many people to believe it comes from personal experience, a song filled with lyrics that countless fans can relate to. The song, which depicts a girl, possibly Kramer, thinking back to how life was with her past boyfriend after seeing his was recently married. The lyrics paint a picture of young love that has moved on. We all know what it is like to have our hearts broken, which Kramer touches on with the long, accentuated lyrics. The one that got away? Maybe.
‘I Got The Boy’ is another classic country hit from the singer/actress. Filled with her crisp sound and heart-grabbing lyrics, this song makes you face your history no matter how hard letting go may be. Wondering “what if?” is a common question many ask ourselves and this song is a great example of that.
