Thanksgiving Homecoming at Loretta’s Last Call

Fight Off The Post-Thanksgiving Food Coma With Live Music For a Good Cause

On Saturday, November 28th, New England to Nashville (NETN) and sponsors, Country 102.5 WKLB and New England Country Music (NECM), will host a Thanksgiving Weekend Homecoming Show that will feature several talented country musicians with ties to New England at Loretta’s Last Call in Boston, MA.  Many of the artists currently live in Nashville but will be back home in New England with their families for the holidays, so it is a rare chance to see them perform back up north.

The show is for all ages and will take places from 3:30 to 6:30 PM. Proceeds from this event will be donated to family of Cam Liberatore, a singer/songwriter and NETN member who originally hails from Franklin, MA but left for Nashville to chase his dream of making it big in the music industry.

NETN founder, Matt Casey, met Cam at a NETN event in Nashville just before Thanksgiving and made plans with him to come up to Boston to perform at Loretta’s Last Call.  Just weeks later,  Matt discovered that Cam was in a terrible car accident and in a coma. The event last year originally was scheduled to be for a different charity, but everyone involved quickly realized that helping a NETN member and his family was the way to go after this terrible occurrence. Cam is now back here in Boston facing a long road to recovery and medical bills are piling up, so all proceeds from the show will once again go the Liberatore family.

Twelve performers will take the stage during the Thanksgiving Weekend Homecoming Show at Boston’s only country bar, Loretta’s Last Call, for this event. Performers include Jilly Martin,  (who is also co-hosting with Matt Casey),  Ryan Kelly, Carly Tefft, Houston Bernard, Annie Brobst (who will be performing one of Cam’s songs), Kate Cameron, Erin Ollis, Alec MacGillivray, Jimmy Connor, Rachel Morgan, Liv, and Caroline Gray.

A CD featuring a song from each of the artists performing, as well as from Cam, will be sold at the event with all proceeds going to assist with Cameron’s medical bills.

Tickets can be purchased online for $15 here or $20 at the door.
