On Saturday, November 29th, New England to Nashville (NETN) and sponsor, Country 102.5 WKLB, will host a Thanksgiving Weekend Homecoming Show that will feature several talented country musicians with ties to New England at Loretta’s Last Call in Boston, MA. The show is all ages and will take places from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. But the best part of this show is the cause. Proceeds from this event will be donated to 24-year old Cameron Liberatore who originally hails from Franklin, MA but left for Nashville to chase his dream of making it big in the music industry.
A few weeks after NETN founder, and official event emcee, Matt Casey met Cameron at a NETN event in Nashville, including making plans with Cameron to come up to Boston to perform at Loretta’s Last Call, Matt discovered that Cameron was in a terrible car accident and is now in a coma. With medical bills adding up, Matt knew that he had to do something. And he did- he decided that all proceeds from this event would go to Cameron to assist with his medical bills.
Eleven performers will take the stage during the Thanksgiving Weekend Homecoming Show at Boston’s only country bar, Loretta’s Last Call, for this event. Performers include Jilly Martin (who is also co-hosting with Matt Casey), Carly Teft, Ryan Kelly, Houston Bernard, Darren Bessette, Cory Farley, Kate Cameron, Britt Hill, Alec MacGillivary, and Tyler Reardon (who is Cameron’s good friend and roommate in Nashville).
A CD featuring a song from each of the artists performing, as well as couple from Cameron, will be sold at the event with all proceeds going to the GoFundMe campaign established to assist with Cameron’s medical bills.
So if you want to listen to some fantastic music, have some incredible southern style food and drinks, and help someone in need, make sure you’re at Loretta’s on November 29th for this great event.
Tickets to this incredible event are only $20 (plus processing fees) and can be purchased here.
