Meghan Linsey is a talented singer-songwriter of Louisiana who was one-half of the duo, Steel Magnolia. After the split of the duo, Linsey went off on her own and kicked off a solo career which included a successful run on The Voice with Pharrell Williams selecting her to be part of his team before country superstar Blake Shelton stole Linsey to be on his team- ultimately coming in second place back in 2015. She is also known for being an activist for different causes including cruelty-free products and disaster relief. But she is now in the headlines maybe more than ever! On Sunday, September 24th, Linsey was invited to sing the National Anthem at Nissan Stadium in Nashville prior to the game between the Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans. She did a wonderful rendition which included electric guitar. But at the end of her performance, Meghan and her guitar player both took a knee similar to how many NFL players have been doing during the anthem.
