Lady Antebellum is releasing their fifth studio album, 747, on September 30th. The title of the album comes from a lyric from the single of which the album is named after, 747, to which it basically says that a commercial jetliner cannot move fast enough to retrieve his love.
The 11 track album was co-produced by the trio and Nathan Chapman- most well known for working with Taylor Swift. “We are pushing ourselves as a band and as songwriters … taking ourselves out of our comfort zone and not taking ourselves too seriously. There’s an urgency and an energy to it that we’ve never released before,” stated Hillary Scott in a release. She went on to describe the album as a ‘fun’ album. Charles Kelley added in, “We are so ready to get this music out. To get the reaction we’ve gotten from ‘Bartender’ has only made us more fired up about the rest of these songs!” Dave Haywood said the seven time Grammy winning trio had the opportunity to write with some new songwriters, “as we took them into the studio, we changed our approach and challenged ourselves to try some new things that were outside of what we’d done before.”
