Kenny Chesney Reveals Track Listing for New Album

Country music superstar, Kenny Chesney, has revealed the track listing for his upcoming album, titled ‘The Big Revival.’ After years on the road touring, Chesney took 2014 off from touring to focus on music and to create an exceptional album. We have known the release date for the album and the first single off the album, ‘American Kids,’ has been wildly successful since the day it was released to the public.

The 11-track album will be availableĀ on September 23rd. Looking at the track listing, you can see that Kenny is bringing back Grace Potter on a track called ‘Wild Child.’ The Vermont native previously went on tour with Chesney in 2012 on the Brothers of the Sun tour and also collaborated with him on ‘You and Tequila’ from his 2010 album ‘Hemingway’s Whiskey.’ The eighth track on the album, ‘Don’t It,’ features bluegrass icon Alison Krauss and 14-time Grammy winner Dan Tyminski, who is a member of Alison Krauss and Union Station.

This weekend thousands of lucky fans who received wristbands in a first-come first-serve process will be treated to Kenny Chesney’s only headlining performance of the year (he was a supporting act at George Strait’s final show at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, TX). The show will be at the Flora-Bama beach bar on the Florida Alabama state line, and is being coined as the ‘First Annual Flora-Bama Jama,’ which leads us to believe that it could be a yearly event. New England Country Music will be at the Flora-Bama Jama this weekend with coverage of the show for all you Kenny Chesney fans up here in New England.

If the rest of the album is as good as ‘American Kids’ is, we are in for a real treat and one of the best albums of the year.

You can pre-order ‘The Big Revival‘ now on iTunes and you will automatically receive ‘American Kids’ and ‘Flora Bama.’
