JT Going Country? Maybe.

He has won ten Billboard Music Awards, seven American Music Awards, four Emmy Awards, and nine Grammy awards on top of several Brit Awards, MTV Music Awards, Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards, Teen Choice Awards, and more! He’s been nominated for 177 awards (including several BET Awards), winning 60 of those 177. But there is one thing that Justin Timberlake has not won- a country music award.

Global superstar, Justin Timberlake, who is most known for being a member of the boy band, NSync, and for pop music may just be trying to move over and do some work in the country music industry. The 33 year old superstar was born in Memphis, Tennessee and was raised in the Volunteer State and late last year publicly said that he was interested in getting some work in the country music industry.

“[I] grew up outside of Memphis, Tennessee. Listened to country music, R&B music, classic rock, you know, everything,” said Timberlake “I still got my eyes set on a Best Country Album. There is time for that.” He later went on to say, I don’t think I would move to Nashville. I know I would move to Nashville. It’s a matter of time. And it’s what this place could offer me, to be that outlet for all these different styles.”

And from what we have been told by someone in the industry, a home has been purchased, and it’s not just a condo. It’s a pretty large one that him and wife, Jessica Biel, could call home for years to come. That same source told us that he may be working with country music singer-songwriter, Chris Stapleton, in some capacity.

In 2007, Justin co-wrote a song called ‘The Only Promise That Remains’ with Matt Morris and was a recorded duet with JT and Reba McEntire, who put the song on her 2007 album, titled ‘Reba: Duets.’

And check out this video of a young Justin Randall (his middle name) on the hit show Star Search, when he was 10 years old, singing Alan Jackson’s ‘Love’s Got a Hold On You.’

At a recent show in Oklahoma City, the superstar also covered Garth Brooks’ ‘Friends in Low Place.’

And then at a recent show in Nashville, Garth, himself, joined JT on stage!

So what do you think? Do you think Justin Timberlake can transition into country music? And will he be able to do so successfully? Will he win that Country Music Association award for Best Album that he covets so very much?

Disclaimer: we are NOT saying that Justin definitely is doing country. We are just presenting the facts. You decide on your own if you think he is. And we will see what happens!
