Five Essentials For A Kenny Chesney Tailgate

We’re just days away from the biggest concert of the summer- Kenny Chesney at Gillette Stadium. Over 60,000 people will head to Foxborough, Massachusetts on both Friday and Saturday for this highly anticipated concert. But before those gates open, the parking lots will fill up. Rows of cars will form and the smell of grills will fill the air. The tailgate is one of the biggest parts of the Kenny Chesney experience. Here are five essentials for your Kenny Chesney tailgate!

5.) Water- Hydrate! You don’t want to be dehydrated and not make it into the stadium. And you definitely don’t want to be one of those ones who pass out inside the stadium and have to do the roll-of-shame on a stretcher in front of 60,000+.

4.) Games- You only need 30 minutes or so to grill and eat. So what do you do with the rest of the tailgate? Play games of course. We always love cornhole, it’s our go-to tailgate game. Other popular games are Ladder Toss and KanJam.

3.) Good Friends- You can’t tailgate by yourself… Well, I guess you could. But what fun is that!? Grab your best friends, carpool together and have a great time before the concert of the summer!

2.) Good Music- A tailgate isn’t a tailgate without good tunes. Grab that portable speaker and the aux cord and cue up some good music. Fill your playlists with Kenny Chesney and the other artists performing at the show plus a bunch of feel good songs to get you ready for an epic night!

1.) Blue Chair Bay Rum and Corona Light- If you’re not 21, stick to the water and soda. But if you’re 21+, feel free to enjoy some libations during your tailgate. Blue Chair Bay Rum is Kenny’s rum company and Corona Light has been one of his partners for many years. Both are delicious. Both are refreshing. And hey Corona Light is only 99 calories for those counting their calorie intake! Oh and after you’re done with Number 1, follow it up with Number 5.
