Georgia native and rising country star, Cole Swindell, has taken the country world by fire the past couple years including during his time on Luke Bryan’s That’s My Kinda Night tour this summer that has played for sold-out shows every night, including one record breaking night at Gillette Stadium. To say that the last year has been an incredible one for Cole, would be an understatement. He says, “It has been a crazy whirlwind year and I feel so fortunate that country music fans and country radio has embraced me in such a huge way. It’s what an artist dreams about.” He adds, “I’ve been lucky enough to get a jump start performing alongside Luke Bryan in front of massive crowds, and while I wouldn’t change anything for the experience I’ve gained so far, I know I still have a lot of work to do on the road.”
Swindell has not only written some of country’s biggest hits but has also sold over two million tracks and over 220,000 albums since his debut record dropped in February. But now he is taking on the road and will launch his first headlining tour- the Down Home tour. Even after already playing 200 shows in 2014 alone. The tour will make stops in 17 cities and will include Kelleigh Bannen in nearly every one of those stops. Unfortunately, the Down Home tour does not include any shows in the northeast at this time. We can only hope that Cole adds a second leg to the tour that will come this way.
