Chase Rice recently scored his first gold record with his hit ‘Ready Set Roll,’ a summer jam that continues to climb the charts and is about to crack the Top 20 on country radio. The singer/songwriter knows ‘Ready Set Roll’ still has some life to it and is hoping the single goes platinum. The song is a sample of what’s to come for Rice as he is releasing a full length studio album, Ignite the Night, on August 19th. The release date is special to Rice as it’s his late father’s birthday. “Words can’t explain how grateful I am to all the people that came together to make this album happen…The fact that the album is coming out on my dad’s birthday makes it that much more meaningful. I hope I do him proud.” Rice also went on to thank his fans because, without them he wouldn’t have a career.
Keep in mind- Rice created all of his own ‘hype’ as he was an independent artist until just recently when signed with Columbia Nashville.
