Following the release of Chase Rice’s album ‘Ignite The Night‘ on August 19th, the singer sold 44,000 copies in the first week, landing him atop the Billboard Top Country Album Chart. Not only was he number one on the country charts but ‘Ignite The Night‘ also ranks third overall on the all-genre Billboard 200 charts. Rice made his own business model by combining forces with Dack Janiels Records, his management company Triple 8 management, label services company Thirty Tigers, publicity firm EB Media, and then Sony Music Nashville did strictly radio promotion for Rice.
“We built things a little bit differently, starting with live shows and building our fan base through touring. Now people are showing up night after night to sing these songs right along with me, and to do it the way we’ve done it and have the No. 1 country album in the nation this week is unbelievable. It’s surreal,” said Rice. Rice thanked his fans acknowledging it’s them who are going to his shows and buying his albums. “I can’t thank them enough..this is for them.”
Fans can see Chase when his Ignite The Night tour stops in Boston at the House of Blues on Thursday, October 2nd.
