Cat Country 98.1 and Dunkin’ Donuts Present Country Music Guitar Pull
(Providence, RI) January 22, 2016: Cat Country 98.1 (WCTK-FM / Providence) and Dunkin’ Donuts announce Stars With Guitars: a country music guitar-pull on Friday May 20 at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in downtown Providence. Stars With Guitars will be hosted by Trace Adkins and stars Easton Corbin, Jon Pardi and Lindsay Ell. In true guitar-pull style, all four artists will be on stage at the same time; telling stories, sharing laughs and singing songs.
“The guitar-pull style of show allows Cat Country fans the opportunity to feel close-up and personal with the artists,” said Briget D’Antonio, WCTK’s Director of Promotion and Marketing. “Hearing the stories behind the songs while the other artists listen or add their own background music/vocals is all part of the fun. There is usually no official set list. The spontaneity and camaraderie between the artists makes it almost feel like you’re sitting in someone’s living room watching friends jam.”
“We produced a winter concert for seven years called The Cat Country Snowball,” said Bob Walker, WCTK Program Director and Hall Communications VP/Programming. “For our 8th year, we decided to evolve the show into the largest guitar-pull in the Northeast with the help of our friends at Dunkin’ Donuts. Having a star-studded line-up like this for our initial year of Stars With Guitars is exciting.”
