Waylon Owings, Josh Coleman, Casey Joe Kelly, Jason Paxton, and Matthew ‘Smiley’ Norris are five guys hailing from South Carolina who collectively make up the band Outshyne. Their first single, ‘Dirt Road Romance,’ was written by the guys of Florida-Georgia Line but it was Outshyne’s second single, ‘Moonlight Crush,’ that really put Outshyne on the map and started making them a household name. On Monday, January 26, 2015 the guys joined New England Country Music for a #NECMchat where they gave us an inside look at the band from everything from a strange fan encounter, their beverages of choice, how Sirius XM The Highway decides to keep a song in rotation, and more.
